Background

I am a 56 year old mother of three kids, hold a PhD in Philosophy and have been in education for my adult life. I am an award winning teacher with 30+ years of teaching and mentoring experience.

Late in my 40's I found myself depressed, tired, and unable to get up a flight of stairs without losing my breath. With the help of many amazing women, I found my way back to fitness and began to see my light again. It was not about looking a certain way, it was about feeling stronger, both physically and mentally.

I wanted to help others flourish too. I earned my certifications in both Group Fitness Instruction as well as Personal Training.

I hold certificates in Nutrition, TRX, Pilates Suspension Method, and Diva Blocks. In December, I will begin offering Kundalini Yoga classes.

I've always practiced mindful fitness - paying attention to your body and form while you are strength training.
